Inventory Management at your Fingertips

Using our Smartsheet Inventory Management system, you can access real-time inventory with photos and detailed condition reports, allowing you to easily track the status of your items.

At Out of the Box Receiving, we receive and handle new high-end furniture and décor with extra care. 


Sidemarking: Key to Efficiency

Properly sidemarking your items is critical. Without this information, your inspections may be delayed, leaving you less time to file any necessary claims.

Once your items arrive at our loading dock, we inspect them for damages, defects, or shipping errors within an average of three to five business days. Our team is trained to spot issues early so any issues can be resolved before it’s time for delivery and installation.

Out of the Box Receiving offers a range of storage options, from 5’ x 5’ up to 10’ x 20’, and we securely store your inventory until your delivery date. Most important, you can always see your inventory in Smartsheet, whether your items are with us short- or long-term. To keep our process efficient for all clients, we can’t accommodate warehouse pickups.

We coordinate with each designer before the delivery, so we can execute smoothly on your installation schedule. You’ll receive a two-hour delivery window to plan your day, and no matter the weather, we pride ourselves on being on-time.

Our installation team delivers courteous, professional service every step of the way to ensure you, and your client are satisfied with the final setup. When the installation is complete, we remove all waste, leaving the space clean and ready to go.

We’re fully licensed and insured. A certificate of insurance coverage is available upon request.

Business Hours and Holiday Schedule

Out of the Box Receiving is open for business Monday through Friday. We receive deliveries Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (no receiving on Mondays).


To enable our employees to spend time with their families, we observe the following holiday hours:

  • Thanksgiving: We will close at 12:00 p.m. on the day before Thanksgiving and reopen the following Tuesday.
  • Christmas: We will close on Christmas Eve and reopen on the first business day after January 1.
